Featured poem: A cork's tale

The hustle and bustle
The jostle
Life throws us into

Tossing us hither and thither
Like a cork on the waves of the storm
Leaving us weathered
A testimony if what we’ve been through

Yet creating wonders
Beautiful and Ugly
Ends …. Desirable and undesirable

But when weathering has had its course
And the cork is spent
What counts…
Is that it once served a PURPOSE
